Recreational Adult Wrestling League: RAWL - Season 3
What is RAWL?
RAWL is the first-ever Recreational Adult Wrestling League, welcoming participants of all levels and experiences. It’s a great opportunity to keep enjoying wrestling beyond one-off tournaments or the perfect way to get back on the mat. RAWL is now in its 3rd season. Season 3 will start Sunday 9/27/26 at 11am.
How does RAWL work ?
The season lasts 9 weeks, with 7 weeks of a group stage format followed by two additional weeks to determine the division champions. The top four wrestlers in each division advance to the elimination rounds.
What are the weight classes?
Weight divisions for RAWL season 3 are as follows:
- 150-170lbs
- 180-200lbs
- 220-240lbs
What are the rules?
- Folkstyle rules
- Three 1:15 minute periods
- Overtime: 1:15 period that repeats itself until first points are scored
- Wall is in play
- Each week wrestlers will be ranked based on wins, points scored and pins
- After 7 weeks of a group stage format the top 4 wrestlers in each division advance to the semi finals
- Awards for top 3 in each division
